Case knowledge is scattered across files, correspondence and calendars. We build an environment where lawyers can find the source, identify missing documents and work from an organised record.
Files and correspondence
- Register matters from forms and messages; classify contracts, pleadings, invoices and attachments. Link authorised Outlook or Gmail correspondence to cases.
- Build chronologies, evidence schedules and missing-document lists; retrieve answers with references to source files.
Analysis and drafts
- Identify obligations, penalties, deadlines and termination terms; compare contract versions. Draft notices, responses and applications from approved templates and case data.
- Prepare legislation and case-law references for legal review; organise due-diligence documents and issue lists.
Deadlines and work allocation
- Maintain court, contractual and internal calendars with the basis for each deadline recorded. Assign tasks, send reminders and flag matters without a next action.
- Show responsibilities, progress and materials needed to complete each task.
Time and billing
- Record activities and time against clients and matters; prepare service and hour summaries for billing under the agreed engagement.
- Produce client reports covering progress, completed work, upcoming deadlines and unresolved issues.
An example workflow
A new attachment is assigned to its case. The system updates the chronology, identifies obligations and drafts a document with file references. A lawyer verifies it before use.
Implementation requirements
The design accounts for professional confidentiality, permissions and audit logs. Lawyers confirm deadlines, source currency, interpretation and every procedural document.
